Terms and conditions

Please read these terms before booking a massage therapy appointment with me.

1. About Kasia Massage

Kasia Massage is a small massage therapy business based in Brickhill, Bedford. I provide massage therapy from my garden studio and may also offer mobile appointments by agreement.

By booking an appointment with me or using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Massage therapy services

I provide massage therapy services that may include relaxation massage, reset massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, back, neck and shoulder massage, maintenance massage and mobile massage appointments.

Massage therapy is intended to support relaxation, reduce muscular tension, improve comfort and support general wellbeing. It is not a replacement for medical advice, medical diagnosis, physiotherapy, counselling or emergency care.

3. Bookings

All appointments are subject to availability. Your booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from me or through the booking system.

Please make sure the information you provide when booking is accurate.

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you are booking a mobile appointment, please make sure there is enough clean, safe and private space for treatment.

I may ask you to complete a consultation form before your first appointment or before a future appointment if your circumstances have changed.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

I understand that plans can change, but late cancellations make it difficult to offer the appointment to someone else.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged up to 100% of the appointment fee.

If you do not attend your appointment and do not contact me, the full appointment fee may be charged.

If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened, but the full fee may still apply.

I may waive a cancellation fee in genuine emergencies, but this is at my discretion.

5. Payments

Payment is due at the time of booking or at the appointment, depending on the booking method and what has been agreed.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling.

I may accept card payment, bank transfer or cash.

Prices may change from time to time, but the price confirmed at the time of booking will apply to that appointment.

If a payment fails or remains unpaid, I may refuse future bookings until the balance is settled.

6. Health information and suitability for massage

It is your responsibility to tell me about any health conditions, injuries, allergies, medication, pregnancy, recent surgery or other information that may affect your treatment.

You must tell me if your health changes before any appointment.

I may adapt, postpone or refuse treatment if I believe massage may not be suitable for you at that time.

I may ask you to seek advice from a GP or other healthcare professional before treatment if there are safety concerns.

You should not attend an appointment if you have a contagious illness, fever, sickness bug, unexplained rash or anything else that could put me or others at risk.

7. During your appointment

I aim to provide a calm, respectful and professional treatment space. Your comfort and consent matter throughout the appointment.

You can ask me to adjust pressure, positioning, music, temperature or any part of the treatment where possible.

You can ask me to stop the treatment at any time.

I will use appropriate draping and only uncover the area being worked on.

I will not provide any treatment that is outside my training, insurance or professional boundaries.

8. Professional boundaries and conduct

I have a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour. Massage therapy is a professional service and is not sexual in any way.

Sexual comments, requests or behaviour will end the appointment immediately.

Aggressive, threatening, discriminatory or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

If you attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs, I may refuse treatment.

If I end an appointment because of inappropriate behaviour, the full appointment fee may still be charged.

I may refuse future bookings where professional boundaries or safety have been compromised.

9. Aftercare

After massage, you may feel relaxed, tired, tender or more aware of certain areas of your body. Mild redness, warmth or temporary soreness can sometimes happen after deeper work.

I may offer general aftercare advice, but this is not medical advice. If you feel unwell, experience severe pain or have symptoms that concern you, you should seek appropriate medical support.

10. Mobile appointments

Mobile appointments may be available by agreement. If I attend your home or another location, you are responsible for providing a safe, clean and appropriate space.

There must be enough room for the massage couch and safe movement around it.

The space must be private, warm and suitable for treatment.

Children, pets or other interruptions should be managed during the appointment.

I may leave or refuse treatment if I feel unsafe or if the space is not suitable.

11. Liability

I will provide my services with reasonable care and skill. However, you are responsible for giving accurate information and for following any relevant aftercare or medical advice.

I am not responsible for injury, loss or discomfort caused by withheld or inaccurate information, failure to follow aftercare advice, or circumstances outside my reasonable control.

12. Website information

The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. I try to keep it accurate and up to date, but I cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete or current. Website content should not be treated as medical advice.

13. Intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, images, branding and layout, belongs to Kasia Massage unless stated otherwise. You must not copy, reproduce or reuse it without permission.

14. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time, especially if my services, booking process or business details change. The latest version will always be available on this website.
